Campout Description

This is a 2-day/1-night mountain biking (or hiking) and camping trip to the wonderful Dauset Trails {}.  Scouts will be organized into separate riding groups based on off-road-biking skills / experience levels (novice, intermediate, advanced).  Saturday: loop trail rides of various difficulties will depart from the campground.  Sunday: additional riding.  We will walk the Wildlife-Exhibit-Trail and the Garden-(and-Scouter-Memorial)-Trail at some point.  Fishing the campsite-adjacent pond is permissible (to campers-only).  Hiking the bike trails is possible, provided supervision is sufficient (other hikers will be on the trails).   Scouts need to bring money for Sunday lunch stop on return trip.

Review all our campout guidelines here to ensure you know about expectations regarding medical forms, adult training, cancellations, refunds, and the requirement that Scouts participate fully in the campout, unless approved by the Scoutmaster.

Medical Forms and Adult training (YPT and Haz Weather) are due when registration closes. Work on them now!
